DWC will be hosting a book fair at Prairie Creek Library. The fair is open to the public. All proceeds will be used for new books for the library.

Toddler Time is an education based program for 0-4 year olds and their adult. Toddler Time is held on Wednesdays at 10:30. No sign up is required. We will be having special locations over the summer. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for these updates.
Noah Frizzell Photography will be at the library doing free 15 minute family photo sessions. Families need to schedule a time slot by May 15. Limited slots are available. When they are full, we will close the registration.

This month the group will be discussing Timothy Buss. As a 13 year old boy, Buss murdered a 5 year old Bradley, Illinois girl in 1981. He was paroled in 1993, and three years later, he kidnapped a 10 year old boy in Aroma Park, Illinois and murdered him in Braidwood.
The group will be discussing Steven Avery. This Wisconsin man spent time in prison for a sexual assault and then was released and found wrongfully convicted. This month the group will be discussing "The Santa Claus Man: The Rise and Fall of a Jazz Age Con Man and the Invention of Christmas in New York." All adults are welcome to attend.
